Privacy policy
This site collects only what is needed to answer your message. Below we describe who the data controller is, which data we process, why, for how long and what your rights are.
01 Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Bogusław Chojecki, a sole proprietor registered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), Miłochniewice 17, 96-130 Głuchów, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 8351582374, REGON 368656712.
For anything related to data protection, write to office@softwow.pl. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the scale and nature of the processing do not require one.
02 What data we collect
Contact form: your name, e-mail address and the message. Providing the data is voluntary, but without it we will not be able to reply.
Server logs: IP address, date and time, the address of the page visited and basic browser details, recorded automatically to keep the site secure and stable.
Your chosen theme (light or dark) is stored only in your browser; it never reaches our server.
03 Why and on what basis we process data
Replying to your message and discussing the project: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in staying in touch with people interested in working with us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Site security (server logs): our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not send newsletters, we do not use this data for marketing, and we do not profile you or make automated decisions.
04 How long we keep data
Form messages: until the project conversation ends, and no longer than 12 months after the last contact. If we sign a contract, we keep the data for its duration and for the period required by law, for example tax law.
Server logs: no longer than 30 days.
05 Recipients
The hosting provider whose servers run this site and the e-mail provider that delivers form messages to us. They process data only on our instructions and only as far as needed to run the site.
Public authorities, where the law requires it. We do not sell data and do not share it with other companies for their own purposes.
06 Transfers outside the EEA
We use providers operating in the European Union. Should a provider ever process data outside the European Economic Area, it would happen only under the safeguards of Chapter V of the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
07 Cookies and analytics
We use no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. The only thing stored in your browser is the site theme you chose.
08 Your rights
You have the right to: access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21) and not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22).
To exercise these rights, write to office@softwow.pl. We reply within one month; in complex cases this may be extended by a further two months, and we will let you know if so.
09 Complaints
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, www.uodo.gov.pl, or with the supervisory authority in your country.
010 Do you have to provide data
No. Filling in the form is voluntary, but without your name and e-mail address we will not be able to answer your message.
011 How we protect data
The site runs only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, the form is protected against automated submissions, and only the administrator has access to the messages.
012 Changes to this policy
When the way we process data changes, we update this document and the date at the top.
